Instituição e expansão da pós-graduação stricto sensu na Universidade Federal do Amapá (2006-2017)

Abstract

This dissertation aims to analyze the implantation process and the consolidation of the Stricto Sensu Post-Graduation level in Universidade Federal do Amapá (UNIFAP). We consider the national context of expansion postgraduate Strictu Sensu Programs including the transformation in the production of public knowledge. The research is based on historical-dialectical materialism. We consider the compression of the totality of the facts is indispensable to analyze all the parts, as well as their historical determinants and different agents, inserted at a certain moment and/or object of study. The data were collected in the GEOCAPES Portal, in the IBGE and in the electronic sites of the Programs, then analyzed considering the reality of Brazil, the northern and Amapá. It was possible to identify the scenario of expansion and distribution of Programs, Courses, teachers and students (enrolled and graduates). This process, in the context of the counter-reformation of the State, triggered in Brazil from the last decade of the twentieth century, implies in the growing relationship of Post-Graduation, research and the production of knowledge, to a mercantile interest. In the particular case of UNIFAP, it was identified that the natural resources of the region are taken by capital as a market element, this rationality has been present since the implementation of the first Programs. This is particularly evident in the partnerships established, in the major areas of courses, and in the lines of research of most of the Programs
